Based on the 1969 paintings of the same name [CR: 224/1-5], which in turn were based on photographs that Richter took from the window of a plane on a trip to Milan in 1968.
300 unnumbered sets of prints (each with five screenprints in black and two shades of blue-grey on white lightweight cardboard, without a portfolio).
Each sheet signed in graphite pencil at bottom or top right, stamped on reverse: Gerhard Richter (1969) "Schweizer Alpen", Motiv A1 A2 B1 B2 B3. The actual subject is circled with graphite pencil.
