The exhibition catalogue Nuevas Abstracciones documents the eponymous exhibition in the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona in 1996. Alongside Gerhard Richter’s series Green-Blue [CR: 793/1-4], works by artists Bianchi, Davenport, Förg, Kirkeby, Scully, Taaffe and Winters are displayed. The catalogue contains a Spanish translation of the essay The Pure, the Impure and the Non-Pure: Painting after Modernism by Arthur Dantos.
